The Hardwood Co. was founded by Kyle in 2017 after years of working in the carpentry industry.

With a passion for feature timber work, Kyle decided to use his wealth of knowledge across the residential and commercial industries and begin his own business venture.

Hailing from country WA, he appreciates and understands the value of honest, hard work and guarantees to be efficient and respectful throughout all aspects of his work, from quoting to maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Kyle is accredited, insured, experienced and will invest time and energy in any project to ensure his clients are fully satisfied.

McWay Falls is an 80-foot-tall waterfall on the coast of Big Sur in central California that flows year-round from McWay Creek in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, about 37 miles south of Carmel, into the Pacific Ocean. During high tide, it is a tidefall, a waterfall that empties directly into the ocean

We were toying with the idea of owner-building and had heard around town about the magnificent decks The Hardwood Co. had built. Kyle drove to our rural home, listened to our dream, inspected our drafted plan and offered his own input, so we could confidently embark on our project. So much more than carpenters, to date the Hardwood Co. have advised on timeline of general construction, demolished and constructed a true and plumb extension alongside a period building that is anything but true and plumb! The Hardwood Co. were trustworthy, worked brilliantly with other trades, acted as site supervisors when we weren't available, accurately estimated with minimal waste, maintained a tidy worksite and were solution-oriented when a problem arose. We couldn't be happier with the end result, however more telling is the other trades that have without exception commented on the high standard of workmanship and quality of our build. We can highly recommend this company without hesitation.

The Hardwood Co team delivered exceptional craftsmanship to a number of intricate carpentry scopes for a bespoke home extension the highlight being a recycled jarrah clad ceiling for an alfresco area. I engaged The Hardwood Company to remove a very old dilapidated timber deck and replace with new Jarrah deck including some new footings. Absolutely thrilled with the end result! They completed the job in the time frame advised and I was delighted with the lads who did the work. They were all very well mannered!
